Linux Status here

Welcome to Seismic Studio Linux

Seismic Studio is currently being ported to the Linux platform. It is using a toolkit called mono that is a cross platform implementation of the .NET framework. This allows us to port our existing .NET csharp code to the Linux platform. However, mono is an open-source project, so there are several things that are not 100% compatible (yet) with the existing version of the .NET framework. This means we have to evaluate our entire code base to see what is and isn't working under the mono framework as opposed to the .NET framework.

Seismic Studio has been released on Linux as of May 31, 2007. It is available from our downloads section. We support both 32bit and 64bit operating systems. Not all distributions are supported, but usually will work after some effort. Supported Distributions are:
RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.3 or later
Fedora 4 or later
CentOS 3 or later (still determining which version was branched off 4.3 and is compatible)
SuSE Enterprise Linux 10.1 or later
